I stopped in Houston for 36 hours. Got this from Avis for peanuts a day. (I asked for a car with CarPlay because navigation)
Some observations:
1. It’s abase model but the interior is pretty decent. There is padded fabric on the dash and some faux leather on the side of the console. The uncovered plastic is still cheap but at least they made an effort.
2. The engine is ok. I think it’s turbo 4 and it is perfectly acceptable on Texas highways. Handling is not the best though. I toss it onto a tight on ramp and I swear the front tire squealed like I am trying to murder it. The steering is heavier than I expected, which is nice.

Do you feel the urge to go 20 over the limit in the right lane, 20 under in the left lane, and to never touch your turn signal? Seems to be how most of these are driven around me.

I always signal and drive way over limit. The fastest car you ever drive is a rental.

I had one of these last week in NJ. It wasn’t bad.
It wasn’t good either, but it wasn’t bad.

Does anyone actually think it’s an Audi/BMW/Lexus?

Does the price tag say it’s 22,690 but with all the options add up to 35,000

On a scale of 1-10, how car would you rate it?

For a appliance on 4 wheels, 8. It’s comfortable easy to use and fulfill its purposes.
For a car as us Jalops, 3. Its a car. It handled like an American family car (aka. Not great).

I did not have time to hire hookers this trip. As for hooning, I am not sure.
